The summer months are flying by and I've kept busy on a curriculum project to be published both in English and in Spanish. I edited the english version and then translated it into Spanish. Louis Sachar's 1999 Newbery Winner, Holes, is coming out as a movie! Check out the trailer. This month I'm sharing with you what I feel is one of the most beautiful movies ever made, Sissi: Forever My Love. I've written an extensive review on this gem. It's wonderful! The RMC-SCBWI Spring Workshop is coming up and it's all on educational publishing. This and much more is what you'll find at the CCF site this month.

If you live close to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and work with children, then the March 12th evening program hosted by the LEAD Foundation should be of great interest to you. Dr. Hallowell, renown psychiatrist, will speak to adults, students, parents, teachers and counselors on "Emotional and Learning Problems in Children."
