Contests
Gracie's Summer
By Teresa Allen, Contest #200708

Summer plans were going no where until Gracie heard the key turn the lock. Gracie knew that her owner was home. When the door opened Gracie was so excited, she began to jump and do her bark-talk.

"I missed you to girl." Gracie's owner picked her up and sat down and hugged her tightly. "It is good to be home, I can sure tell that you missed me too. I'm sorry Gracie that I was gone for such a long time, but I had to go to a country called Iraq and help save the animals that needed protecting from the war that still is going on. But I'm home now girl."

Gracie gave her owner many licks, and stayed by her side from that day forward.
