Emotional & Learning Problems in Children

On Wednesday, March 12, 2003, the LEAD Foundation in Colorado Springs hosted an evening with renowned psychiatrist Dr. Edward (Ned) Hallowell. The theme of this talk was: "Emotional and Learning Problems in Children." Dr. Hallowell is a noted psychiatrist who has appeared on such national television shows as "20/20," "The Today Show," "Dateline," "Oprah," "Good Morning America," and "The View." He is a nationally recognized expert on ADD/ADHD and is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. During his talk, "When You Worry About the Child You Love: Emotional and Learning Problems in Children," Dr. Hallowell described the various emotional and learning problems children may have and offer practical tips on how best to deal with them.
