These were the days she lived for. This was the weather she dreamed of. Rain in July. Nothing could be better than this. School was just one day from being over and there was nothing that could ruin her mood. She couldn't remember the last time the air had smelled so good, so fresh, so wet. It had been sunny for the last two weeks, and this rain was a relief both for her and Mother Nature. As she walked down the road, keeping to the sidewalk and looking up at the cloudy sky, she smiled as she thought, "this is my life, and right now I’m living it!" As she continued walking, she felt a sudden peace come over her. She realized that no matter what happened in the future, she was in the "now" and no one could take that away from her.
