The Love of Tigers
By Jacqueline S.*, Contest #200709

The look in the tiger's eyes was one of the saddest things, as the tiger dies. The Golden Tabby Tiger is a unique tiger.

As one of the zoo keepers came to feed Tabby he could see in her sad blue eyes that she wanted help. From that day forward the keeper would come and talk to the female tiger every day, encouraging her to stay alive. But the tiger was getting even worse; she was dying right in front of him. The poor little animal was only one year old; she was taken away from her mother at birth. The keeper had faith in Tabby and knew she had the will to live.

Thanks to the keeper Tabby is alive and doing well. Ever since he helped Tabby stay alive he wanted to open a rescue zoo that only houses tigers, especially sick and homeless tigers. Now every day Tabby and the keeper walk around the rescue zoo helping other tigers stay alive. The name of the zoo is called The Love of Tigers.
