Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, is a novel, an easy-read book that will keep you turning the pages. Sal, the main character retells the story of Phoebe. Doing so her story begins to unfold. She deals with several difficulties throughout the novel. She tries to deal with the fact that her father is ready to start dating once more, her mother has left and not returned, and her sudden urge to find her. In Phoebe's story, her mother mysteriously disappears, and Phoebe believes that she was kidnapped. Phoebe then has the urge to find her "lost" mother. Sal learned many valuable lessons such as to not judge others, not to let saddness overwhelm you, and to know that the little things don't really matter. Walk Two Moons taught me to live for what I have and to not worry for the thing I don't. Sharon Creech worded this novel in a way to keep you interested. The end of the chapters always left you hanging, making you want to read more and more. I reccomend this novel to everyone who loves a mystery, love, adventure, and comedy story all tied together. This novel is sure to keep you turning the pages.
