Robert Cailliau: How the WWW got its beginnings
By staff writer, Nov 6, 2003

Mr. Robert CailliauBrowsing through the web we stumbled upon a most interesting article by Internet Computing. The man is Robert Cailliau and in 1990 he proposed, with Tim Berners-Lee, a project which became the World Wide Web, the "www" we all now type to access the internet. This is a fascinating interview by IC's Editor-in-Chief, Charles Petrie, who recorded this dinner conversation with Cailliau in November 1997. We use the WWW daily for either education, entertainment, or shopping. It's good to learn how this medium of communication got its beginning.

Mr. Cailliau has some questions he'd like to have answered. Click here to visit his site and...with your thinking caps on...get the answers! Send them to Children Come First and we'll forward them to him. Click here for submission rules.
