Western Bagel's Ultimate Bagel -- 1 point only! What a find this precious little bagel has been!!! Western Bagel now makes an alternative bagel to die for! These little beauties are only 1 point each! YES!!! One point! And very tasty as well...They come in 4 flavors. I've ordered the sweet wheat and cinnamon swirl and find them worth every penny!

The image on this page will take you directly to where you can order them. Weight Watchers Magazine mentioned the Alternative Bagel as having only 1 point each. I ordered 3 of the Sweet Wheat and 3 of the Cinnamon Spice. You have to order a minimum of 6 packages of any variety of "The Alternative Bagel". Shipping was around $11.30 and this adds $1.88 to each package so $3.50 + 1.88 = $5.38 per package of 5 bagels. The more you order the cheaper they come out. For my second order I ordered 24 packages and with shipping added they came out to $4.38/package. Still expensive, huh?

Well...the verdict is in!!! We received the bagels this past week and they're absolutely delicious!!! They truly are! What joy to delight with a 1 point bagel for breakfast with fat free cream cheese... for lunch using it instead of bread for a yummy sandwich... with fat free butter and garlic powder instead of garlic bread! I plan on ordering them in quantities so I'll never run out and then freezing the little darlings and treating them like the precious commodity they truly are.

If you live in California you're in luck. They're based out there and you can buy them at retail outlets. I have a call in to their office (818-786-5847) asking them whether they are sold in Colorado Springs, CO. I also plan on taking the empty wrapper to local grocery stores and asking them to order them. I know if they put a sign by them saying they're only 1 point per bagel (in the WW point system) they'll sell out, no questions asked.

What a find these little beauties have been! I'm a happy camper. :-)

Sorry
