The Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado Springs hosted two events with Children's book author and illustrator Steven Kellogg on February 7 and 8, 2003.  Friday evening, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m.  was geared for adults. It included a desert reception and lecture in the Carnegie Reading Room at the Penrose Public Library, 20 N. Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs. Kellogg spoke for about 45 minutes, answered questions and signed books. The event was a library fundraiser and the cost to attend the evening presentation was $10.

The second event, Saturday morning February 8th at 10 a.m. was free and more geared for children. Kellogg spoke for 30 minutes and answered questions.  This  was held at the East Library and Information Center in Colorado Springs.
