The air smelled of summer rain and blew heavily in the village. There was a milk man in that village who was greedy and gained his wealth by cheating others. His bad habit was to dilute the milk he sold to the villagers by mixing it with water before selling it. In this way he increased his profits and became rich quickly.

On this particular day, the summer rain began to come down hard and fast, The village and its surrounding were spared but all the milkman’s cows and buffaloes were drowned in the flood. His home and all his all property, which he had gained by mixing water in the milk he sold, was washed away and lost. After the loss of all his wealth, the milkman lost his mind and ended up dying a poor and lonely man.

Throughout the village and beyond, folks would tell the story of the greedy milkman as a way to teach their children that we should earn our living only by using righteous methods.
