It was the fist day of the new school year and Josie was entering Kindergarten. Emily, her younger sister, who was three, followed Josie around the house as she prepared for school. Up until today, Josie and Emily were inseparable.
Josie's Dad took her to school, and walked her to her class. Josie was so happy she loved school especially the desk with her name colorfully displayed in big bold letters on an apple shaped piece of paper.
At home, Emily was sad. She followed her Mom as she cleaned the house.
"Now we have to get you ready" her mom said.
"Ready for what?" Emily asked,
"It's a surprise." Her mom whispered.
Shortly after, Emily and her Mom arrived at a pink building surrounded by a white fence and a yard full of toys. Emily's Mom turned to her and said "this is Pre-school Emily. Let's go look and see if we can find some new friends for you."
Emily was overjoyed. She loved her Pre-school and her new friends.
When Josie arrived home, Emily met Josie at the door and they joined hands and Josie said to Emily, "I love school!" Emily grinned big and said "Me too!"
