Extrodinary Me!

Kyle was sitting in his wheel chair feeling kind-a blue, the other kids were jumping rope and he wanted to play too.

"Sometimes it's hard being different!" He thought to himself. "If I could walk I'd double dutch and run a marathon, sure to come in first place!"

"Kyle we need you!" Exclaimed Lilian Grace.

He shook his head and wondered what he could possibly do. Surely she knew his chair wouldn't allow him to play.

"You can twirl the rope, not too high or low. You're important to our success!" Lilian screamed.

With a smile on his face he realized she was right. "I may not be able to jump but I can twirl the rope to perfection, be the best that I can be. I can do anything I put mind to, just in a special way. If I work hard I can be an extraordinary me!"

Destiny McNeil, from Grand Rapids, MN, tells us, "I love to write for fun. This is a great way to use my imagination! This was so much fun it's really got my creative thinking going."
