The Fourth of July Thief

With July 4th coming up, Jessie got more and more sad each day. She had three concert tickets stolen about three weeks ago! The concert was an Allison Krauss concert, and the tickets were a hundred bucks a piece.

Jessie and her friends, Courtney and Abbie, were upset! They all went to Courtneys's house and made a plan. Their plan was to go to all the buildings in town and put up posters. Then they would go to all the houses in their neighborhoods and do the same.

When they got to the last house in the neighborhood, it was the girls' worst enemy...John McCruter. He was the meanest boy in school and he was their number one suspect! His mom opened the door and said hi. John's mom and dad are so nice. The girls asked if they could see John and lucky for them she let them in. They found John in his room and he immediately told them he took the tickets and that he had always been jealous of them. John went to his closet, got the tickets, and handed them to Jessie.

The girls ended up going to the concert and they had a blast!
