Jordan Grant

The air smelled of summer rain, a smell that reminded me of him. Jordan Grant, a guy in my math class who had ocean blue eyes and blond hair. We were walking through a rose garden. Jordan was the sensitive type. He  would write poems and love letters. We had been dating for a year.

Like roses, Jordan knew how to work his way right into your heart. I saw roses of all colours: red, pink, yellow and more. We kept on walking until we reached a beautiful gazebo covered in roses, grapes and vines. Jordan set his bag down and pulled out two roses.

"I have two roses for you; the first is a blue rose which represents your unique personality." He passed the rose to me.

"The second is a white rose representing our future together." He passed me the second rose and got down on one knee holding a box.

"Michelle, will you marry me?"

I started crying. "Yes! But this is a dream I'm going to wake up soon!"

"It's not a dream darling. I'm yours if you marry me."

"Yes!" I cried with tears of joy this time. I was going to marry Jordan Grant.
