The look in the Tiger's eye was one of complete love, as she licked her two baby cubs. The smaller cub stayed close by her mother at all times, but the other cub would wander off, and sometimes he would get himself into trouble and even danger!
One day when the cubs were out playing with each other, they both heard a very strange sound. When they both looked up into the blue sky, a huge bird was coming right towards them. The smaller cub ran and hid under a bush with stickers, but the older cub froze and would not move. The smaller cub ran out and took him by the back of his neck and pulled the cub to safety, just in time!
The bird was a huge Hawk and the small cub knew that they would be safe under the thorns until their mother came. The smaller cub had saved the life of her brother. She had listened to all that her mother had taught her.
The mother was proud of her courageous baby cub.
