Kyle's Rugby Dream

Kyle was sitting in his wheelchair and screamed at his two friends, “Get out of my sight! I don’t want anyone’s pity! Out! Out!”

“Let’s go. Perhaps seeing us worsened his pain,” said Tony.

“You’re right,” replied John with a sigh.

Being active in rugby, they could understand how important rugby was to Kyle - it was his life! When their school team got into the Rugby Finals, it was Kyle’s dream come true. He trained very hard, hoping to shine during the Finals. Life chose this juncture to deal Kyle a cruel blow, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down after a road accident.

“We’ll come another day. He’s strong. I’m sure he’ll come to terms, somehow,” said Tony.
