Stop It!

She took one of the mysterious seeds and tossed it into Class 5B. It landed on Susie whose cackling laugh was irritating. To everyone’s surprise, under the seed’s magic spell, she stopped laughing immediately.

“Amazing!” squealed Jux.

Next, it was Lex’s turn. She threw the seed even further than Jux’s. It landed on the cheeky James in the last row, who was sneakily punching the keys of his handphone, thinking he could escape notice. Instantly, the magic from the seed took effect - he put away the handphone obediently and sat up straight.

“I win!” said Lex.

“No, I win!” cried Jux.

“We agreed that whoever creates the most impact wins!” said Lex.

“No, I’m the winner. Watch me!” said Pax, the third witch.

Pax threw it at the poor Mr. Joseph who was having a hard time keeping the boisterous class in order. He stopped teaching at once, yelled, “Stop it!” And stormed out of the class.
