What a Day!!!

National Nothing Day finally arrived. It was the worst day of my life. Nothing is supposed to happen on this day. But this is the day I died.

My parents were away. My grandpa and grandma went shopping for vegetables. I was alone in the old spooky house with no one to play with because I was a single child.

I sat in my room playing with my dolls when I heard someone knocking at the door. At first I stayed quiet. I was terrified. But I didn't want to act like a baby so I went up to the door and opened it, without first looking through the peephole to see who it was. Big mistake!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

My scream didn't help. "The Hand," was there. The police had warned us about this serial killer who cut off his victims' hands and watched them bleed to death. He grabbed my hand and I saw my blood flow on the floor. My body followed and I knew I was dead for sure. My parents buried me in the back yard.

Too late I learned my lesson. Don't open the door when you're alone in the house, especially on Nothing Day.
