If you've ever wanted to write a novel but didn't know where to start this was the perfect class to take. In this six week, hands-on workshop, Pam McCutcheon showed participants how to start from nothing but an idea and flesh it out until it became a full-fledged story. Using the basics of characterization, plotting, and self-editing, participants used a step-by-step approach to develop the outline of a novel or short story, get feedback from the instructor and the class, and learn some tips on the business of writing and how to market and sell their work.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Pam McCutcheon is the author of two nonfiction books for writers, eight novels (with two more under contract), two novellas, and three short stories (the latter written as Pamela Luzier). In addition, she has judged and/or administered many writing contests and worked as a freelance manuscript consultant.
