Happy New Year to CCF visitors and subscribers alike! I hope you had a restful holiday season in the company of your loved ones and are now ready to launch into 2004. I was able to rest some, write some, and work to finally get the CCF Store up and running! We've added the favorite holiday titles submitted by many an author to the store. We'll be adding to the online inventory bestseller and award winning titles as the days go by. Here's the CCF Bulletin with news and information recently posted to the CCF site:

NEW TO THE CCF SITE:

• News:
  • "Face the Issue" national PSA campaign  - ET-online brought us the news that "A-list stars such as HALLE BERRY, CATHERINE ZETA-JONES, NICOLE KIDMAN and JULIANNE MOORE are  using their power to raise awareness on a number of issues" such as anorexia, bulimia, alcoholism, drugs, and domestic abuse. These are excellent PSAs showing now on TV and also online. 
• Holiday Favorites:
  • Authors sent in their favorite holiday titles and traditions and we've posted them to the new "holiday favorites" category.  
• Parenting:
  • Sex on Campus: Risky Business - College kids think that, "If you're having fun, you got to have a beer in your hand and a babe in your arms; to have fun, you got to drink, you got to be sexually active." Do you think that's how college kids think?
• CCF Kids:
  • Do you want to be a CCF Reporter? - We're looking for boys and girls, 1st thru 12th grade, to post book reviews to the CCF site.
• Writing:
  • Book-in-a-week - Have you heard of the book-in-a-week group? I'm thinking there probably are several around but I wanted to let you know about one I recently joined and how much it helped me with the middle grade novel I'm working on.
• CCF Top Picks:
  • Fun screensavers - We've selected Xara ScreenMaker 3D as a CCF Top Pick. This is a reasonably priced and very easy to use program to make your own screensavers.
• Futures:
  • Future-Proof Your Company - Discover how to get ahead of the curve through this unique six-hour futures workshop that Jay Gary is offering on January 24th in Colorado Springs
