I grew up 30 miles from Little Town on the Prairie in South Dakota, where my love of children's lit began. Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nancy Drew, the Bobbsey Twins, Trixie Belden, and the Happy Hollisters were my friends! Children's & YA books are still among my favorites.

My three books are all published by Linworth Publishing, and while not written for children, are written for those who work with children: Once Upon a Time: Fairy Tales in the Library and Language Arts Classroom for Grades 3-6 (2007), Teach Writing to Older Readers Using Picture Books (2005), and Rhymes and Reasons: Librarians & Teachers Using Poetry to Foster Literacy (2003).

I have published articles, poetry, and short dramas for children in Pockets, Teachers Interaction, Home Altar, My Devotions, and others.

Lately, I have more ideas than time! However, I'm trying to market a couple of picture books and am working on a middle grade fiction.

I belong to SCBWI, CCIRA, and CLAS, am mentioned in Contemporary Authors, and enjoy the discussion on this list. I've been a lurker for quite awhile!
